Ensures Baleares has been able to build an "efficient " health system despite its " historical precariousness in terms of funding "
The Minister of Health, Martí Sansaloni , has called on Thursday in Madrid " better funding for Baleares " , through a speech at the headquarters of National Health Insurance, under the title ' Reflections , opportunities and progress of our National health ' , with whom he has also stressed the idea that the Balearic community is the subject of " unfairness " with respect to other regions , suffering " a historical precariousness in terms of funding."
However, the minister stressed that despite this inadequate funding , the Balearic community has been able to build " an efficient health system," thanks in large part to the "excellent professionals available to the health of Baleares " .
In his speech, the Minister remarked that although Baleares "has always been a caring community , is at the bottom of Spain in per capita spending ." It has also ensured that the Balearic healthcare system needs to cover some needs in terms of infrastructure and human resources that the system of funding does not cover.
